Too much money for too much attitude. The sandwiches weren't bad, but slow and served with more attitude than necessary for the price. Not a very practical or pleasant option if you're trying to get back to the office during lunch with enough time to eat.
The best organic salad items. I really like this place. It's a little pricey, but so is mostly everything in the financial district. If you have got to have a salad, this is definitely one of the top two downtown. Everything looks and tastes fresh and great, AND they have a great variety. Of course, everything is organic. To beat the lines on a sunny day, go before noon or after 1:30 - but remember that they close in the late afternoon. Not such a fan of their sandwiches, but I like their soups. And their cookies are yum! Just watch the tab - it adds up quickly. Go go go !
Tasty and healthy. Their caesar salad is quite tasty, especially with chicken or anchovies or with both. The size of the salad is pretty large, so I can have a healthy diet lunch without feeling starved in the afternoon, and it's actually really tasty. They have really good vegetable juices, especially their carrot juices. Jesus there has a really good attitude and is very helpful. It seems that other rater(s) have problems with the employee attitudes--when in doubt, ask for Jesus!
Unnecessarily Rude Female Service. The food is average, yet, very over priced. All well and fine, except the female employees are outwardly rude and nasty to the customers. They go out of their way to find conflicts. I wish there was another salad alternative in the area.
Busy workers flock to this Financial District breakfast and lunch spot for fresh, healthy fare..
In Short
Organic products and health-conscious selections abound at this wholesome eatery. Tossed-to-order salads reign supreme among lunch-goers who prefer to pick and choose from creative ingredients and a wide range of regular and non-fat dressings. Butternut squash soup--one of eight daily selections--is a favorite among regulars. Tasty sandwiches are made with Niman Ranch roast beef, chicken and cranberries, veggies and more. Soup-and-salad and soup-and-sandwich combos are a great way to taste the variety.
