Delightfully untrendy. Unlike so many bars in SF, the Brick House is quiet and spacious, with nice wide booths to sit in. The wait staff is cool, laid back, and helpful. Beer prices are very low, with some $1 or $2 draft nights. The kobe beef burgers are enormous, a good deal for the reasonable price. This place will make transplanted Midwesterners (and anyone else) feel right at home.

Great Lunch. The Brick House Cafe serves great food, everything looked good. The employees were a different story. They were indifferent at best. But I definitely recommend eating here for lunch. The sandwiches and burgers are delicious. Because of that, this place can get crowded at lunch so try to get there early.

A little oasis of calm. This place is Terrific!! Food is awesome, music is great, people are friendly. Its a great place to relax in the middle of a day and enjoy the ambience. Can't wait til they're open for dinner too!
