Great value and amazing service. Good quality fish and really affordable. Lunch and dinner bento boxes are filling, yummy and so affordable. If you like to eat a lot os sushi there is an all you can eat on wednesday and sundays. Not worth the value for 2, but as a group the best deal. The chefs are entertaining and very kind. Its open till late some days and frankly I just like the fact that they don't rush you.

decent sushi, not decent service. ok, a local joint, i live around the corner, so it's close. fish is good, not the greatest, but you don't expect that from a neighbourhood place, service is spotty, when it's not busy, service is ok, when busy, it's crap, i've been seated and walked out because no one helped came to my table for more than 15min, the two first reviews are definitely suspicious, but i do agree the food is not too bad, the service on the other hand ...

Editorial Review. Movies are projected on the wall while patrons eat sushi and sip sake. Lunch, dinner and late night snacking.

Quality sushi. The atmosphere is fine, the service is fine, but I don't go there for any of those things. I go there because the quality of the sushi is great - some of the best I've had in SF.

I think the other reviews were done by employees. The service here is friendly and attentive, but unfortunately the food is lacking. The fish wasn't that fresh, though they did have some creative rolls if you're into that. I read the reviews here and thought I might be headed for a hidden sushi gem, but was definitely disappointed. I'm new to SF and still on the search for a reasonably priced, good, authentic sushi place.

Awesome. Nara Sushi is fantastic- there's no place better. Where else else can you get the greatest sushi with the greatest service? The personal attention from the staff and owner, Sun, is unlike anything I've experienced. Nothing in this city can compare to Nara.
