A Temporary Offering

With the flood of half-off bikini waxes and go-karting adventures in our inbox every morning, we’ve become well acquainted with temporary offerings, but not like this one. Spanning nearly a city block on mid-Market Street, A Temporary Offering (ATO), is a pop-up experiment merging dining, drinking, retail and art at the Renoir Hotel. The 50-seat restaurant by SF FoodLab serves lunch and dinner, showcasing SF entrepreneurs. One week you’ll find Sol Food Puerto Rican, and the next, Lima Peruvian. The adjacent tequila and whiskey-focused bar, Rio Grande is helmed by local cocktail celebs The Bon Vivants. You’ll find over 30+ whiskies and 50+ tequilas and mezcals for the offering. Last, but not least is Trailhead – a retail space where you can score local finds like roasted coffee by Farm or Holy Stitch! denim.
