Zero Zero gets a zero. Unfortunately the system won't let me get away with less than one star... Last Friday my friend and I decided to try a new place and chose Zero Zero. We walk in and ask the hostess if she has a table available. The hostess says 'no' (expected on a Friday night) and offers to put us on the waiting list. She informs us that the wait will be over an hour and suggests that we hang out in the bar area where we may have luck finding seats. We follow her advice and make our way to the bar area. The bar area looks very typical with a long bar and some tall round bar tables with bar stools. The area is clearly separated from the main dining area. We stand there for about 10 mins trying to get the bartender's attention to at least get a drink. Nothing. Then we see that one of those bar tables frees up and we grab it. Another 5 mins go by before a waitress finally comes by and the first thing she asks is if the hostess told us to sit there. We explain to her that the hostess sent us to the bar area to look for seats and this table is what we found. The waitress says she'll be right back and takes off without cleaning the table or offering us drinks. Another 5 mins go by. The hostess comes to tell us we can't sit at this table because someone is waiting to be seated there. At this point we are confused because the same person that told us to go to the bar to look for a place to sit now tells us we can't sit at a table that is clearly a bar table in what is clearly the bar area of the restaurant. We tell the hostess that she mislead us at which point she became very unpleasant and takes no responsibility for the situation making us look like idiots. We ask her to call the manager. At this point we are not really looking to keep the table (didn't want to take anything away from another group if they were really waiting to be seated there) but we thought a little apology and something to make us feel welcome there was deserved. Another 5 mins go by and the manager comes over. We explain the issue to him but get the same attitude as the hostess. We just got up and walked out. We spent good 20-30 mins there, and this was all that we got.
