Under-Cooked, Fatty & Loud.
We arrived to the Velvet Room at 9:30 on a Friday night, we were seated next to the divide between the Redwood Room (Hotel's Bar/ Lounge) and the Velvet Room with very loud music playing. I was unable to conduct any conversation with my girlfriend, the music was deafening.
We ordered our wine, when the wine arrived someone other than our server brought it out without identifying which wine was which and switched them. I guess us younglings can't tell the difference between a Syrah and a Pinot.
We then ordered and received our entree, the homemade pasta my date ordered was hard and undercooked and the skirt steak I ordered was fatty and chewy. It was hard to cut the steak with the butter knife they provided, I asked for a steak knife and our server brought me another butter knife
