Citysearch Editorial Review.
After a downward spiral of critical boos against Chef Traci des Jardins' Acme Chophouse at AT&T Park, the award-winning chef made the bold decision to split the large space into two distinct restaurants—Public House, a sports bar with an extensive beer selection and upscale pub grub, and a second branch of her successful quick-Mexican joint, Mijita. Public House occupies the vast majority of the square footage, featuring two tightly spaced bars with about two dozen beers on tap (plus another two dozen bottled); annoyingly, the selection is split 50/50 between the two bars, which means your party better have similar taste or an incredible amount of patience as you weasel your way to the front of not one, but two, over-packed bars. Bartenders are often harried and even downright argumentative on game days—begging the question of whether the place is capable of handling the crowds it invites with a sports bar in a baseball park. But, if you're lucky enough to get dibs on a first-come, first-served table, you'll enjoy superb pub food (think grass-fed beef and pulled-pork sliders, sausages from local purveyor 4505 Meats) worthy of the des Jardins reputation and the freedom to choose any beer, all within easy view of a big flat-screen TV. Overall, Giants fans will find this to be a welcome upgrade from the ill-placed steakhouse that lived here prior, but it's an upgrade that's left plenty of room for improvement itself.

Great food/brews/sports.
I came here to watch the Lakers and Giants kick some ass (which they did) and eat a burger and enjoy some good brews. We started off with the delectable crab cakes. I've never had a crab cake before, so this probably doesn't mean too much, but it was the best crab cake I've ever had! :P
I also started off with the Racer IPA ($6) and then went with the Moylans Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale * 8% * $7 * Amazeballs!!!
The bacon and guacamole burger met expectations and was just as good as the delicious appetizer and refreshing brews. This is supposedly a great place to come before/during/after a Giants home game, but I say it's great anytime!
