BBQ loved by Texans. Dibbs is SOLID. I'm from Texas, and my fellow Texan friends and I are always on the lookout for some good BBQ (at a decent price). Dibbs definitely fits the bill on both accounts. It's perfect for takeout, as it's not necessarily a "nice" place to dine-in at. The guys who work there are pretty chill, and we chatted with them for a bit while we waited for our food.

I ordered the pork ribs with a side of mac & cheese and buttered corn. The pork ribs were really tasty and had plenty of meat on them. The mac & cheese were delicious... however, if you're a vampire or aren't a big garlic fan, you may not like them too much. The buttered corn could've maybe used a little more butter (but honestly, you can't ever have too much butter).

Delicious pork ribs, 2 sides, and some bread... all for $8.99?? Hell yea!! I'll be going back. I just wish they delivered more than "7 blocks" (so random). 4.5 stars (rounded up to 5).

Citysearch Editorial Review. Tucked away in a storefront on Fillmore St., Dibb's BBQ is the definition of a bare-bones barbecue joint. The decor may be sparse, but it's really all about the meat anyway. The menu starts with breakfast and works its way down through Italian subs and hot sandwiches, on to the classic lineup of brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, and the necessary fixin's. They'll even deliver (within a seven block radius) if the order's more than $20, but given how dirt-cheap the food is (sandwiches start at $5, heaping BBQ plates at $10), be ready to order a lot.
