Citysearch Editorial Review. With its super cheap, seven-hour-long happy hour ($2 draft beers), affordable build-your-own Niman Ranch burgers and late-night weekend hours (3am), Acme seems like just what this Divisadero nightlife strip needs. The ketchup and mustard color scheme and harsh lighting (it's lit like a public-school classroom), and lack of comfortable seating, however, make it hard to enjoy more than one beer here, and Bean Bag CafĂ© across the street has the same exact deal and a much more comfortable setting. The burgers are solid, and the topping/condiment bar allows you to perfectly customize your burger, but it's hard not to feel like this tricks you into doing half the restaurant's work. Staying open till after the Independent and local bars close should guarantee this place some business, but with so many other good options nearby, Acme will have to step things up to stay in business. Luckily, that's mostly an easy fix: dim the lighting, get rid of the fast food chain-style atmosphere and put those draft beers in a pint glass instead of a plastic cup, and this will be a nice addition to the neighborhood.…
