HORRIBLE.
The food was not good at all. Dry steak.
The WORST part is that when I received my credit card statement, they conveniently overcharged me. I called, e-mailed, called, called again. Nothing. They were unresponsive until I threatened to report them to the Better Business Bureau (which, I saw on the website already had complaints about billing issues similar to mine!). Finally, the e-mail back was, "Your charge will be reversed". That was it! No, apology, nothing! Truly amazed at this RUDENESS!
Do not go here!…
Citysearch Editorial Review. Though it's hard to imagine, especially while driving past it on the 101 Freeway, Medallion Steakhouse might be one of the hippest destinations found on the entire Peninsula. Gus Murad, owner of Medjool, the man behind this South Bay venture, which features an endless continuum of rooms washed in warm greens and yellows, clean lines, and a minimalist aesthetic that brings the outdoors in define Medallion's well-done design. Sparse hedges of grass, planted into the low walls that enclose the seating area in main dining room are sophisticated; neatly arranged trunks from white birch trees are the sleek backdrop in the private dining room are just cool. Steak is the main event here (with both corn-fed and grass-fed cuts of beef), but the eatery's long and varied menu makes it suitable for just about anyone. It's the lounge and outdoor patio that really stand to make this place a hot destination, especially during the warmer months.…

Fan of Olive Garden?.
This is mediocre Italian food. The mandatory Valet seemed unnecessary. The outside of the restaurant really doesn't cause one to think that it is anything special. Once inside, it is warm and
inviting. The wood burning stove is a nice touch.
Appetizer of fried Calamari was tender but pretty average, nothing exciting (we also found coated lemon slices and pieces of celery?). I had the roasted chicken and porcini mushroom risotto. There was no creaminess to this risotto dish. The flavor again, was just okay. My husband had the fettucini puttanesca. He felt that the sauce was over cooked, the seafood in the dish wasn't necessarily fresh and the dish seemed rather dry. The server was friendly, but I felt that we had to wait a very long time between appetizer and entree.
Save a few bucks and go to the Olive Garden. At least you get unlimited breadsticks there.…
Nice surprise for a Saturday night dinner. Arrived without a reservation on a Saturday evening and my party of 3 was immediately seated. Despite a private event obviously being hosted at the same time, we promptly received our menus and service was impeccable all evening. The 2 other members in my party opted to share a salad and this was brought out on 2 plates, without being requested (nice touch!). The seafood risotto (special for the evening) was fresh and delicious, especially paired with a crisp white wine. Will definitely be back!…
