Simple pizza spot features both NY- and Italian-style pies..
Thin-crust pizzas have become ubiquitous in this city thousands of miles from both New York and Napoli, but considering the success of places like Pizzetta 211, Pizzeria Delfina and Flour + Water, it's not surprising to see how lesser known spots like this narrow Marina joint think they could ride the trend. It's a casual affair here: just a few tables for dining in and a counter for ordering pie whole or by the slice; take-out is available but delivery is not. Decor is understated but more elegant (and clearly cleaner) than any Haight Street by-the-slice spot, while the menu--free of salads, appetizers and any other frivolities--is definitely more on par with those NY-style, take-out eateries than their trendy SF counterparts.
