Near the ballpark in SoMa, this Italian-style deli’s sleek interior and friendly staff seem unnecessary in an area this desperate for a decent sandwich joint, and there's often a line out the door here to prove it. The menu is simple: classic sandwiches (about $5) and specialty numbers, plus paninis and salads for a few bucks more--no problem there--but the line seems more a function of a production line that needs streamlining than a 'wich worth waiting for.
