I'm melting!.
I practically count down the days til I get a massage with Jaime- she rocks! Massage is kind of like pizza, even when it's bad it's still okay, but Jaime takes it to a whole new level. This is like mega-super-New-York-slice-minus-a-fat-ass style pizza, made with organic ingredients.
What I really like about Jaime is she adjusts her style to suit your needs. For example, some days I just want a more gentle Swedish massage while other days I want deep tissue- Jaime listens and accommodates. She also has an intuitive sense of what kind of pressure is right for your body and what areas need focus- I've sent my friends and boss and his wife to her and all of us have left feeling rejuvenated.
A unique service she offers is the chi nei tsang belly massage- which I frequently request. The belly is a part of the body that often gets neglected during massage but it is highly worth it to check out, and your stomach will thank you. That combined with the acupressure leaves you feeling very balanced.
The room itself is nice. Clean, calming, soft music playing. Great smells. She offers a choice of oil or lotion, and gives you water when you're done. Thank you Jaime- a solid 5 stars!
My favorite SF massage. I've been getting massages from Jaime for almost a year now... it is becoming habit forming! A good habit for those who workout a lot, my sore muscles are always thankful after a massage with Jaime. Sometimes I make an appointment when I'm feeling mentally stressed as well and this always seems to help too. Compared to other masseuses I feel that Jaime takes the time to listen to your wants and needs and applies these to your treatment. She also seems to always remember the various idiosyncrasies of my body and is happy to be harsher/gentler depending on the day. Many of my friends now visit Jaime regularly now too...though I don't want her to be too busy to fit me in I do feel compelled to share when I find a great service like Bodywork for Body Wellness ;)
Great massage for aches and pains.. Jaime Grand was recommended by my trainer at Crunch. I'm running my first marathon this fall and wanted to include massage to workout the expected kinks from training and long runs. It was such a good decision! Jamie is an expert. She blends variety of techniques and pressure to address any problems areas. It has turned out to be such a good benefit that I arranged sessions to be a regular part of my training program. I come away from each session relaxed in body and mind. Your in very good hands with Jaime to de-stress or sooth any aches and pains.
Damn Fine Massage. I am an attorney in the Bay Area and truth be told not particularly fond of massage. Or at least I wasn't until I came to Jaime's studio in San Francisco. Jaime was very polite and spoke with me about what kind of massage I would like as well as any injuries I might have (this was big for me because I have a bad back). She took time with me and was constantly putting me at ease explaining what she was doing and answering any questions I had. I felt a little bad because I fell asleep in the middle of the massage. Jaime has made a believer out of me and I will go back to her the next time I am in the city on a weekend.
