As adamantly American as its Belden Lane neighbors are cheesily European, this restaurant from the chef and owners of Elite Café is well-suited to the downtown Wilkes and Bashford crowd. Inside, porthole wall lamps cast a handsome glow off of the stainless steel bar and tin ceiling and give the place an olden-day maritime feel, while leather banquettes and cork walls soak up the din. Outside, dozens of outdoor bistro tables make it a great spot for a hot day or a warm night. The Coastal-American menu of seafood (crab, tuna, mussels), soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and a few manly entrees are well suited to unfussy, FiDi-style lunches and dinner.
