Perhaps the best Neapolitan pizza in the bay area, crowds constantly flock to this non-stop packed spot. Worth the wait, just grab a drink!

Tonys tops. Been there 12-15 times and have had a great pie every time. Great place to take friends or out-of-towners. Tony's aims to please and the menu tweaks have only brought more styles of pizza. Detroit, Jersey, NY, you name it. Love the Romano but everything rocks.

Best "secret" pizza. I had to jump on the review bandwagon because I just discovered this place and was an instant fan. A friend and I went in to order pizzas to go on Superbowl Sunday. The bartender told us about a "secret, off-the-menu" pizza that was oh so good. Tomato sauce, pepperoni, sausage and the secret weapon - ricotta cheese. Great crust and perfectly cooked. We ordered three! We sat at the bar and watched the game while we waited, although it only took 15 minutes. Good bar ambience with flat screen tv and booths. They give you fresh bread with dipping oils while you wait. Just watch out for the fresh garlic oil if you are on a date. I'm definitely going back to check out the regular menu!

YUM-TACULAR. This place can be summed up in one word.....YUM-TACULAR!!!! It's a word, trust me!

Me and two grown boys ordered two pizzas, a salad, 3 meatballs, and devoured the complimentary bread and garlic oil. We pretty much rolled out of the restaurant.

We ordered Tony's world famous Margherita pizza. O...M...G! Amazing! A Cal Italia pizza which was the Gold Medal Winner in Food Networks Pizza Champions Challenge. It's now a winner in my book! Three Italian Style Meatballs, which literally melted in our mouths! And, so we could pretend like we were eating a healthy meal we ordered a Pancetta con Rucola salad. Pork belly and mozzarella salad is healthy right? Yea, that's what I thought!

Yea, so I think I'm going to ask this Tony fellow if I can move in to his restaurant.

The odds were stacked against Tony from the beginning: he opened an Napoletan pizza place in a "Italian" neighborhood known to all locals as the place to go for Chef Boyardee-style Italian food, at a time when Neopolitan pizza joints are opening on every corner, and on a prime but seemingly cursed corner where many restaurants have failed. That Tony's has become one of the city's favorite pizzerias is a testament to this certified pizzaioli's prowess. With three wood-fired ovens turning out four distinct styles of pizza--Napoletana, Classic Italian, Classic American and Sicilian-style--each made with regionally specific flour and fresh, traditional ingredients, Tony's is all about authenticity. Also pleasantly genuine is the family pizzeria-casual atmosphere, with a full bar for those who want to eat their pie while watching the game, and a dining room where you can watch the dough spin on the finger of the pizzaioli in the open kitchen. For such a pizza specialist (try the award-winning Margerita, and the Cal Italia) Tony shines with the sides, especially the delicately fried green beans, and there are some specialty cocktails available.
