Custom burgers in the heart of the Inner Mission.. This good-time Mission burger hangout with colorful, old-school touches (padded stools, diner-style tables) prides itself on its modern wealth of choices. Order at the counter from the build-your-own menu of meat (beef, turkey, chicken), veg, cheese, toppings (battered onion rings, blue cheese), sauce and bread options, or choose from a list of specialty burgers such as the “macho nacho,” with pickled jalapenos and queso, or the “Mission heat” flush with chilies, onions, pepper jack and chipotle aioli. The breakfast burger comes with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese and a fried egg. Milkshakes, floats and malts are made from nearby Mitchell’s Ice Cream products.
