While Fly on Sutter lacks the sultry coziness of the original location on Divisadero, it’s like a well-lit big sister: still hung with art, still purple, still offering the classic sake cocktails, but boasting a full-bar, and much more seating (plus it has two bathrooms!). This is a bar bar, not fancy, but a popular spot where it is not unheard of to see a line out the door during happy hour. - There's a little backroom where anyone can play Street Fighter for free! It's also equipped with couches and is the perfect place if you have a little group, and want to play Street Fighter for free!
- When to Go:
- The long happy hour (Mon-Fri 12-6:30pm, Sat-Sun 3:30-6:30pm) is one of the city's best, with half-price pizzas, cheap beer, and a flirty singles scene.
- Know Before You Go:
- Portions are big enough to split here unless you're famished.

Best Happy Hour!

This is my favorite spot to bring friends for a fun meal before going out. The pizzas are tasty and well-priced. The appies are a perfect portion and a great compliment to the drinks.
