Citysearch Editorial Review. Located on the second floor of the Parc 55 Hotel, in the heart of San Francisco's downtown shopping district, Cityhouse is a serene oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the street. With a warm chocolate brown interior and sleek silver accents, it's modern, yet not uninviting. The kitchen offers up new American classics--smoked salmon Benedict for breakfast, organic Cobb salad at lunch, corn-fed, Angus steaks for dinner--all day long. While it's clear that Cityhouse longs to be more than just a hotel restaurant, with its close proximity to the lobby and mostly empty tables, it does not entirely succeed.
