Editor's Tips
- Where to Sit:
- During lunch, instead of nabbing a table near the registers, venture to the back of the space for a more cozy, and intimate lunching experience.
- When to Go:
- Wednesdays through Saturdays, folks can take advantage of the space's "Carpe Diem" happy hour which offers wines by the glass for $4 and imported beers for $3. On Fridays, guests can enjoy food and appetizers for one set price.
- Look Good:
- If the boss is ever looking for a snazzy, unique event to hold an office bash, suggest Horatius, which prides itself on the its ability to throw a great corporate or private event.
- What to Drink:
- Sidle up to the wine bar and test Horatius' impressive selections of Portuguese wines and beers.
- The Extras:
- Ritual Coffee Roasters roasts coffee exclusively for Horatius and can be purchased by the cup or pound.
- Fun Fact:
- Horatius' name is an ode to its owner, Horacius Gomes (who founded the first Hispanic advertising agency in San Francisco) and the poet Horatius, celebrated for his poems titled the Odes.
