Art gallery and learning center in the Mission.. This artist-run nonprofit in the heart of San Francisco’s Mission District has been holding the torch for diversity and education of the arts for the past 35 years. Southern Exposure is the perfect place for artists to find the support they need, acting as a forum and resource center while offering a safe environment for artistic experimentation. Along with SOEX’s nationally recognized education programs these newly developing artists get the opportunity to showcase their work at this well-respected gallery, allowing them to gain legitimacy within the local art world and beyond.
