Go one block up!. Curries here are greasy, badly seasoned, and occasionally food-poisoning. They make OK naan, but then wrap it in foil so it gets soggy. Even samosas are rancid and stale ... I suspect that they just keep them until they sell, no matter how long that takes.

Service is counter-only and is grumpy and inattentive. Sometimes they like to overcharge customers, and often they forget parts of your order.

You want cheap Indian? Go one block up. Check the reviews at the other locations: the whole Tikka Masala chain is the worst Indian food in the Bay Area.

t-e-r-r-i-b-l-e. Your food sucks. I'm sorry, but it's just TERRIBLE. How is this restaurant still open? It must be the cheap rent and the underpaid illegal employees who pay the bills.

Food Poisoning!!!. I've eaten at about hundred different Indian restaurants over the years. Being new to San Francisco I thought I should try out Tikka Masala. I got EXTREMELY sick after ordering food from here, I literally vomited for about two days and couldn't eat anything.

if you take a closer look, the place is filthy, and the staff looks like they haven't seen a bar of soap in days. And the old Indian guy that works the counter (perhaps runs the place?) is an unfriendly prick.

Terrible Experience!. Overall, both the food and the experience were pretty awful. Not to mention the prices were a little steep for what we got. If you want real Indian food, go up the street and find Lahore Karahi and make it your go-to place. The food there is miles ahead of this terrible excuse for an indian restaurant.

Ant the rice is clearly drawn from a pot sitting for ages. It was clumpy, sticky, and just not even close to fresh.

The TV was annoying us with an expired football game and then "hillbilly hand-fishing," and the owner told us we could change it to whatever we wanted...WE WANTED PEACE!

It's terribly mediocre!. The old man here has some serious difficulty in dealing with women? The waiter all but ignored me, going so far as to walk up to our table and address solely my boyfriend with a, "How is everything, sir?" while being all scowls at me. I thought I was being paranoid until I said something afterwards, and had my suspicions confirmed. Not a good impression to be leaving on your customers!

I'm telling you - this place isn't for me. If you're looking for good food, you'd be better served having Indian food one block up the street, or a slice of pizza around the corner.....I wouldn't bother with this place.
