Relaxing Classy Mecca on Mission-Valencia. This wifi zone cafe is restricted to only serving danishes, muffins and donuts, but features a very good assortment of graphic novels in trade paperback and hardback formats. Weekly shipments of new comics arrive on Wednesday for followers of the big three (Marvel, DC, Image/Dark Horse). The space is calming and jazz selections from the gamut of the birth of Jazz to the late 80s play in the background. Charging ports for your laptop are accessible near the window seats, which feature a view of an gallery across mission which alters it's sign every month. My experience with the proprietor is that he will find your tastes and begin to hone his picks to your interests. Comic pull lists are accepted, which are a real time saver if you have to just grab them and run. This is my favorite comic shop on earth since Rory Root passed, Rest in Peace brother.

Editorial Review. The concept--part comic book hang-out, part coffeehouse--may sound like a joke, but the quality is far from it at this casual Outer Mission spot.
