Perfect Neighborhood Restaurant!. I wish I had found this place sooner! Finally a place the hubby and I both equally love!

Small and quaint, simple and easy, this is it.

Small menu, not a lot of seats, may be a bit of a wait, and an ever-changing menu. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly. You order at the counter and they bring it over to you. We've had the roasted beets, savory galette, baked mac and cheese (DIVINE), and the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever had.

It is probably my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Warm, cozy and fuzzy is the best way to describe it really.

Corner cafe brings comfort foods to the outermost Sunset.. This Outer Sunset cafe is not so much a restaurant as it is a hang-out, exactly the sort of artsy neighborhood space the neighborhood needed. Everything about it--the much-appreciated warmth inside compared to the cool ocean air, the low lighting after dark, the "Cheers"-like familiarity staff share with regulars--makes it a cozy retreat for beach-trippers and locals alike. Designed for small meals and shareable portions, the menu changes nearly daily and utilizes whatever's local, organic and in season: look for brunch items like "eggs in jail" with Zoe's bacon and dutch pancakes topped with caramelized apple; lunch and dinner feature hearty bowls of soup (always a vegan option), Heirloom Organics salads and roasted seasonal veggies. The stand-out by far is the fresh-made levain bread that's cut thick and paired with almost every dish--a testament to the sort of simple/brilliant comforts this corner hangout provides.

Editorial Review. This cozy cafe a stone's throw from the beach aims to be a local hangout offering simple, light, organic meals and sustainable wines.
