Best Steakhouse!. By far one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to. The prime rib my wife had was very tender and juicy. Actually surprisingly so for the cut of meat. I was very impressed with both the quality and flavor. I had the lamb entree which was the chop and loin and again the flavor was delicious. 5 stars well deserved.

Decent restaurant. I went here last night for a work dinner. I really enjoyed the ambiance and the dark wood décor of the restaurant. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I LOVED the beef carpaccio sushi rolls. I ordered the lobster bisque, which was delicious, and the sea bass which was pretty good as well. Nothing super spectacular about this place, but definitely a decent restaurant to eat at!

CHIC FUN PLACE!. I love the atmosphere here and I love the food.

What else do I need?

Oh, and they have happy hour specials. ($2 bites!) Happy hour is my favorite time of day, so how can I not go wrong!?

Hamachi shooters, sushi, mac and cheese, Kobe beef sliders, $1 oysters, lobster dumplings, beef carpaccio rolls and of course steak!

All delicious!!!

Of and the drinks of course are really strong and good too.

The happy hour is great but be careful 5-7:30pm goes really fast, I've stayed way past one time too many and then ended up with a slightly bigger tab than expected. But that was my own fault for ordering so many champagnes my fiance would say.

Can't wait to come back again, I love the happy hour here.

Delicious steaks and appetizers. I’ve been looking for a happy hour hang out is not only lively and cozy, but offered good food. So, when my friend invited me over to 5A5, I was intrigued. This place did not disappoint and now it’s my fav place to go grab a drink and some appetizers! I highly recommend their hamachi shooters and $1 oysters. YUM! And if you’re here for dinner, my fav is the 6 oz buffalo filet. I’m still waiting to try the signature A5 kobe steaks that everyone talks about… But, I really liked the buffalo filet, so that’s what I usually get. Oh, and don’t forget to get dessert. Their pastry chef works up some wonderful desserts such as the bread pudding, which is my fav. The green tea donuts were also very good. And, how can you not love a restaurant that has a huge flying saucer over it? Check it out, it’s very distinctive.

Happy Hour Hot Spot in FiDi. What makes 5A5 one of my favorite hang-outs in the Financial District, is its great atmosphere. The fireplace greets you as you walk in and you know you've arrived when you look up and see a dome that reminds you of the sci fi movies. I've come here many times with co-workers and friends to grab some drinks and grab a few bites off of their happy hour menu. My favorites by far are the shishito peppers and truffle fries. Can't go there without ordering those two items. And they have a wide selection of drinks for all tastes. i'm pretty boring. I generally just grab a beer, but they do have plenty of mixed drinks if you like that sort of thing.

As for dinner there, the T-bone is my steak of choice. But, I did indulge in a 4-oz of the wagyu once and I can tell you that I was in heaven.. at least until I finished my plate. Then, reality set back in and I was forced to wait until the next time I could try it again. My favorite side dishes to go with a good steak were the corn with kaffir lime leaves and mac n cheese. Definitely worth a try for all steak aficionados.

Editorial Review. Premium meats are served in this Jackson Square restaurant, where the atmosphere is more swanky cocktail lounge than utilitarian steakhouse.
