Unique Ice Cream Flavors You Won't Find Anywhere Else!. I was addicted to the Peanut Butter Curry Ice Cream. It was velvety. It was salty. It was sweet and it was spicy. I could not take my mind off that sensation after the first bite. It was my first encounter with Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream and I was immediately held captive by the strangeness. I refused to give in easily. I waited. I sampled a couple more. Secret Breakfast, Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee, Pink Apple, Thai Chili Lime... none of them were as striking. By then I knew exactly what I want. My mind would not settle until I was holding a cup full of Peanut Butter Curry Ice Cream. There were a big smile on my face when I took that second bite.

I bought my nephews here. I found this company online and I was frankly skeptical on how much of a big deal an ice cream company is. Well, this is coming from a new convert -- Humphry Slocombe is all that's promised, and more!

I bought my nephews here with me the other day, and their mother said they couldn't stop talking about it in school.

Fabulous. The flavors are so unique and delicious. Mcevoy olive oil was truly amazing. Taste them all! The bourbon finish in the secret breakfast is delightful. A must-visit while in town. Worth the effort to get too even if you're staying downtown.

Funky foodie flavors like Guinness gingerbread, foie gras and balsamic caramel pepper the menu at this new Mission destination for innovative ice cream.. This classic ice cream parlor--parquee floors, chrome retro clock, red vinyl counter stools--feels old-timey, but the flavors are anything but. Creamy, American-style ice cream, made by a self-proclaimed "white guy from Ohio," Humphry's churns out flavors that would intrigue the palette of the most ascoted NY food critic: balsamic caramel, Thai-chili lime, bourbon-cornflake, Guiness gingerbread and Straus yogurt (and many more). The white guy from Ohio also being a veteran of Fifth Floor, Boulevard and Coi, local specialty ingredients like Blue Bottle Coffee and McEvoy Ranch Olive Oil also go into the mix, along with old-school faves like Red-Hot candies. You can take your treat in cone, cup or sundae form, and cookies and brownies made in-house are available too, but it's really all about the cream here--just ask the owner, the one with a BAND OF ICE CREAM CONES TATTED AROUND HIS FOREARM.
