Carnivorous cravings unleashed upon this quick, casual Mission spot's meaty menu will find plenty to chew on.. The cafeteria-style line begins just inside the door of this 24th Street restaurant, where fresh-from-the-rotisserie whole chickens glisten alongside slabs of roast beef and racks of saucy ribs behind a long counter. Customers inch along its length to place orders from the menu overhead. Given the restaurant's name, the lack of pulled-pork barbecue on the menu may disappoint some patrons, but the omission, along with the presence of plump Polish sausages, deli sandwiches and spaghetti dishes, reveals the restaurant's humble German hofbrau roots. While the menu is, in some respects, a departure from the barbecue norm, the interiors are clean, simple and - not surprisingly - pretty generic. The tropics-themed wall murals, tiled floors, a flat screen television in back and basic wooden tables lining the narrow dining room are could easily be found in any burrito shop in the neighborhood.
