Nice location, poor food and service

There were two of us, we arrived and were seated upstairs. We were unable to see the menu it was so dark they brought us a candle. We ordered appetizers, salad, entrees, drinks and wine etc.. One appetizer came (the other was sushi and did not arrive). My husband asked about the other appetizer and was told she would have to go get it ( she was OPENLY ANNOYED) We then got our salad, followed shortly by entrees. Then she arrives with the sushi appetizer, my husband said that he really did not want to eat an appetizer now that dinner started, she was angry and said she would take it off the bill (SHE DID NOT). She ran to the bar behind us and started crying!! She had all of the other waiters staring at us. For the remainder of the meal no one refilled our drinks, asked how we were etc.. Avoided us like the PLAGUE!! One of the meals was cold too, but at this point it was hopeless. I have never felt so uncomfortable!! I called the next day and spoke with the manager (he is the 3rd since they opened) who said he is on a sinking ship. DId not offer any compensation of any kind!! We will not go back. But we will go to Sam's Chowder House (which we found the next day).

nice location, poor food

We had dinner with 4 people during weekend of labor day. One plate, swordfish, was cold. After complaining they put plate in microwave and gave it back to us as is. Another plate was seared ahi tuna. This looked more like boiled rather than seared.

Great new destination spot on the coast.

My husband and I stopped by chance at Crab Landing on Sunday after walking the beach. We were curious about when it would open and found that they had an open house going on. They offered generous samples of calamari, clam chowder, shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell (all free). Everything we had was absolutely stunning. The decor is the most beautiful on the coast. There was a table set with samples of items from the menu, which is rather extensive. Everything looked beautiful and delicious. If it is as good as it looks, and as wonderful as the samples that we had - this will be an incredible destination spot for the coast. There is an outside patio for dining which welcomes pets, 2 floors with floor to ceiling windows and elegant, modern designs. They were very gracious and I think service will prove to be excellent. We are looking forward to coming here for lunch or dinner some time soon. Crab Landing is going to give every other restaurant a run for the money. Don't miss this place!
