The perfect place for tea. I love, love, love this place! I am such a sucker for girly things and this is the cutest place. Everything from the décor to the chandeliers to the place settings were adorable. My friend and I got the “Tea for Two’ and it was the perfect amount of food and tea. It comes with two pots of tea, a variety of tea sandwiches, scones, crumpets, and desserts. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating so you can take advantage of nice San Francisco days. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Crown & Crumpet is Ghirardelli Square's destination for crumpets, quiche and premium teas---not to mention whimsical gifts adored by kids and kids at heart.. Bubblegum pink checkered floors, floral table linens and a couple of animated owners set an eternally cheeky mood at Crown & Crumpet. The tea parlor boasts the comforts of a country home with curiosity cabinets filled with all manners of mugs and chintz, and though the antique chairs, crystal chandeliers and white china printed with etiquette-isms give the space a posh, imperial presence, C&C is a "doilie-free" zone more like Alice in Wonderland than Buckingham Palace. Your choice of tea is presented in athree-tiered stand filled with tea sandwiches, sweets and scones, served with Devon clotted cream and jam, and those with less delicate appetites won't be disappointed either: Welsh Rarebit, quiche Lorraine, sausage rolls, and tuna salad with sun-dried tomatoes and cheddar are also on the menu.
