Pac Heights diners unwilling to make the trek to 18th Street for the signature thin-crust broccoli rabe or prosciutto pies from this SF favorite find the newest outpost in their own backyard..
With wait times reaching DMV proportions during prime time at the original Pizzeria Delfina, this second location was only fair to lovers of this Neapolitan-style pizza. With about 40 seats, this Lower Pac Heights version is about twice the size of the original, and all but large groups are seated in fairly quickly at simple blond wood two-tops with views of the open kitchen. The paper-thin crust pies are made and topped with local, seasonal ingredients (taste the garden fresh tomato and basil in the sauce on the margherita) and there are ten pies to choose from, two of those being daily specials. The wine list is all Southern Italian, and moderately priced, and a few select beers are available.
