The hungry and hurried Financial District lunch crowd dines on Thai basics at this to-go or eat-in restaurant on Bush Street's most popular dining alley. – Considering its proximity to SF's busiest bussiness district, it's not surprising that the tiny corridor that houses this unexpectedly spacious Thai eatery (plus a Bistro Burger and What's Up Dog) is pretty consistently packed with hungry FiDi lunchers vying for a table. Good thing there's plenty of seating, both inside and outside, to go around. The inside boasts sky-high ceilings, minimal decor--save for the occasional Buddha or phony plant--and rows of two-top tables that are close enough to eat off your neighbor's plate. What's to eat? More or less what you'd expect at a fairly Americanized Thai restaurant: satay, pad thai, pineapple fried rice and yellow curry, plus a smattering of dishes from around Asia, such as Vietnamese-style spring rolls, Chinese sweet and sour chicken and a curry noodle dish called mee goreng that's popular in Indonesia.
