Great Tasting Small Asian Plates and Drinks and HAPPY HOUR!!!.
Why is Mercury Lounge so great you ask?
Happy hour with $3 edamame, $2 bottle beer, $3 tap beer and $5 cocktails! Great deal really, and not just those items but everything under their starter section and all the drinks are $2 off! You really get full from those starters and they are so yummy!
The food here is fantastic! My favorites are calamari with green chili sauce from heaven, fluffy pita bread with curry sauce, another one from heaven, Buddha curry bowl that's VEGAN! and it tastes so wonderful, their New York steak with mustard sauce, another heavenly sauce! and very interesting edamame tossed with sesame seeds.
Drinks are very interesting as well. My absolute favorite is "Hidden Dragon" with pear vodka and fresh lemon juice and ginger nector with green tea liquor, with Chinese 5 spice sugar on the rim of the glass! Great combination and I've never seen that anywhere else!

A huge club-like space with two bars, a dancefloor, electronic music, and Southeast Asian fusion tapas..
Like most restaurants near the 11th and Folsom nightlife strip, Mercury's got a clubland atmo--throbbing beats, a dark industrial look and lounge seating--but this place takes it to Ibiza-like heights with a dancefloor, two bars and space for two hundred. The Southeast Asian-fusion menu's got everything from lumpia to pho to a lemongrass New York strip, mostly served tapas style, and if service isn't fine-dining-polished, it is friendly and attentive--perhaps a little overly so. Like the original, Mercury Appetizer Bar in the Marina, this spot is as much about drinks as it is food, though despite the nightclub vibe it early.
