Great wings and friendly service.
If you love classic buffalo style wings, this is your place!
Stopped in to sample their wings on a Saturday afternoon. The dining room is very small but gets a lot of sunlight and they had the game on the flatscreen TV. The buffalo wings were cooked just right and had plenty of sauce with ample heat. They do their wings in the classic buffalo style. Regular fries and garlic fries were good too.
The beer prices can't be beat and they're apparently even cheaper during happy hour. Normal beer prices are $3 for a draft. I don't recall exactly how many beers they had on tap but I believe it was 4. I Remember 1 being Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and another as Fat Tire. They also had a few bottled beer selections. I will be sure to return for their happy hour(3-6 monday thru friday) which features half price on drafts, dozen wings, and sides. $1.50 for a micro-brew draft? This place should be packed to the brim. Guessing the odd location of Grove & Gough Street is the deterrent. Definitely worth the walk and the money you save is even more of a bonus.
Oh, the 2 guys working while I was there were super friendly and accomodating.
A bright and clean diner where burgers are fresh and wings are plentiful.. Big windows shed light onto every table in the circular upstairs dining room of this friendly American food joint next door to a Days Inn. Fans of a hearty meal can enjoy big beefy Niman Ranch burgers with all the fixings, grilled chicken sandwiches or their signature buffalo wings, with mild, hot or inferno sauce (there are a few salads and a veggie burger for vegetarians). Sides like house-made potato chips, garlic fries, onion rings and macaroni salad have to be ordered separately and can be added to an order or served in a larger basket to share.
