A new look

Len spends time getting to know your needs before he starts suggesting things. I was initially hesitant about doing low lights and when it was complete still was not used to having darker hair -- after having 85% white when I walked in.

The real cincher was when I got home to Hawaii my husband loved it -- everyday he would tell me how great it looks and how much younger I look. Thanks Len.

• Pros: Knows what he is doing
• Cons: A little expensive but I am worth it.

Brillant hairdresser!

I wrote a very positive review four years ago about Len, and I would like to reiterate my deep appreciation for his talent and personality. First, Len makes you feel completely at ease and you become immediately aware that you are in the hands of a master at his craft. It goes without saying that he is an amazing hairdresser.

For an example of his talent: Last year, I lived in Europe for a year and decided to switch from blonde to brunette. When I came back to San Francisco, I did some touch-ups myself on my roots, and needless to say, this turned out to be catastrophic. While my roots were dark, my ends were blond. I knew that Len could do something for me. I was right. When I arrived at the Salon, he looked at my hair, told me what he was going to do (without a single reproach about what I had been doing to my hair), and performed his magic. And he totally repaired the damages that I had been inflicting on my hair.

I really appreciate his expertise and his professionalism. He really takes the time to take care of his clients, which proves his high commitment to his job. But, above all, Len is very approachable, very smart, and very down-to-earth, and despite his talent, he is not at all snobby, which is very rare in San Francisco.

I also have to say that I am used to going to very posh salons in Paris (Eric Roman, Frank Vidoff, Christophe Robin ; all of them are great, by the way), and Len is for me very comparable to those “big names.” I encourage everyone to visit him and witness for oneself what he can do!

I tried a new Stylist the other day, and his name is Len. I was impressed by all of his reviews, his web-site and had to see what all the hoopla was about. I am glad I did! Professional, funny, welcoming and best of all skilled! I've had way to many bad cuts over the years (you know the one's where you have to go in sooner rather than later to get it cut again because it grows out so poorly!) Well I am loving my cut and I can already tell it will grow out nicely! Salon is simple but nice, not snotty, and the salon was busy (another good sign!) I will recommend Len to co-workers, family, friends what a find I have made! Try him out and you will agree!
