DO NOT USE!!! He is a total FRAUD!. No way, don't do it!! It is WAAAAAY too $$$, and it is a TOTAL rip off. The trainer spends about an hour and a half with you and your dog. Majority of this time is just him shooting the sh*t about this and that, and very little had to do with our dog or the training. Very soon after (about a day or so) we received an email 20-25 pages long with instructions on how to train our dog. Our dog's name had obviously just been pasted into a generic template the trainer had previously used. The tips were nothing new or original; they were very basic and common dog training tips, and had nothing to do with the one aspect we had asked him to work with us on. Not to mention the fact that it was in huge font to make the packet seem longer than it actually was. We were basically supposed to train our dog ourselves for the next 2 weeks, and once we had done so the trainer would come back for a 1/2 hour session to see how we did. If our dog was not fully trained, we could pay for additional training sessions....but it was a TOTAL rip off!!! I would give him zero stars if I could....

Jim exceeded our expectations. Jim was really great. Our home is very busy and chaotic with 2 preteen children and our crazy dog. But Jim was very patient and worked with the whole family. By the way, he is great with kids. Our first session was over 3 hours long. He gave us a lot of information and a list of supplies to buy. It took about 10 days, then he emailed a training plan that was incredible. He had took into consideration our kids' different personalites, their schedules, my wife's schedule, and he created a dog training plan that we could actually follow quite easily. And best of all, it worked. It was actually really fun to do some of the activities that Jim wrote in the plan. We had our follow-up session with Jim yesterday and it went very well. It was alomost 2 hours long. Our dog is nearly perfect. What a big change. I am very happy with his service.

A FRAUD - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!. I agree with insidersf - Jim is a fraud - do not pay him in advance - he is a flake - he will take your money and you'll never hear from him again!

This guy is a FRAUD. This trainer: Jim Mogavero is a FRAUD. Do not use this trainer and pay him in advance. I paid him in full and he took our money and did not provide any of the training that he promised. Further, he will promise you a 25 page customized training schedule. Beware! it comes in 30 point font. Others have been defrauded. Check Yelp also. I won Small Claims suit against him.

Better Than The dog whisperer.. This guy is amazing. We had 4 other dog trainers before and nothing worked. This guy, Jim had our dog walking calmly by my side within 10 minutes. Our dog, Hank now comes when we call him. We only had Jim come to the house twice and we now have a totally new dog.
