No nonsense proactive counseling.
I have been in therapy most of my life. I came to Lyora very reluctantly. I was fed up with all the talking and the very little progress I had made before. After all, history kept repeating itself
and I really wanted a change... I just needed someone to help me make it.
Was I ever in for a surprise!
Lyora got me from day 1. And that is what distinguished her as my "life coach". Lyora asks very poignant questions and doesn't let me steer offtrack. She sends me off with homework that amplifies the progress we are making and guides me to understand what is and isn't working. Notice how I say we? That is because I truly feel she cares. It almost seems as though she gives herself homework between our sessions as well because she often comes in with a new angle on things.
Lyora is an incredible listener and has an uncanny ability of recalling things discussed in prior meetings, tying them into the present circumstance. If you want a custom therapist who will take your personality style and needs into consideration and not just give you pat answers and mumbo jumbo psycho babble, a therapist who doesn't want to drag things out so that she can keep you in her appointment book, a therapist who helps you look in the mirror and smile, look no further.
I feel very fortunate to have found her. I cherish the growth I have made. I only wish I had met her years ago.…
Life therapy - the real deal!. I wish that all health care workers were as authentic, effective, and adaptable as Lyora. I started my therapy needing a life coach, but when the coaching demanded a major shift in my life situation which then unexpectedly devolved into a crisis, Lyora went above and beyond to help me stay on track and out of panic mode. I have made an incredibly difficult but positive change in my life in a very short period of time thanks to my own work, but only in concert with Lyora's solid and unflagging guidance. I have felt comfortable crying in front of and laughing with Lyora. I recommend her for any situation and I look forward to continuing to work with her until I'm well on my path to creating the happy and creative life I deserve.…
