NOWHERE NEAR FRESH. Second time we went here. The first was a hit or miss kind of thing. We decided to give them another shot, maybe they had a bad day, who knows?

Well, no bad day. The fish that wasn't so fresh before was definitely NOWHERE NEAR FRESH now. It had a smell, and had the consistency of mush.

Stay back! Don't you dare go here unless you're cool with an emergency room visit afterwards.

Excellent Food, Great Prices, and friendly service in the Inner Sunset! Finally!. It's hard to find this kind of quality seafood at such great prices. The space is comfortable and casual - a perfect family dining location with kids and adults of all ages. In some respects, it's like an excellent neighborhood diner, except that it specializes in seafood and has more friendly decor. The service is very friendly, but don't expect 4-star service - it is an inner sunset cafe, afterall. That being said, the staff has always accomodated any request that me or my guests have made - they are there to help you have a great meal and fun time. Whether you like it raw, steamed, fried, or grilled, count on getting a great meal at a comparatively low price.

Try a range of seafood preparations from around the Pacific in the middle of the Sunset.. Tacos, teriyaki and barbecue converge at this cavernous restaurant highlighting seafood recipes from the Pacific Rim. The menu explores tastes from Japan, America, Mexico and beyond with fusion choices such as crispy, deep-fried Tokyo salmon with sweet-potato fries, Baja tacos with avocado-tomatillo salsa or grilled Mahi Mahi over pineapple fried rice. But the food isn't the only thing that's meant to sustain: The décor is almost entirely bamboo and other recyclable materials.

Pacific Catch is a great catch!. It's so great to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. My boyfriend and I had drinks at the bar before our dinner and I got one of their specialty drinks that had kiwi and another one that had coconut syrup. Both were very yummy. We also had some of their special rolls and they were so fresh and delish (BTW if they ask you if you want roe wtih that, they will charge you $1.50 extra to top your rolls with those little eggs...did not know that and that's why I only give them 4 stars). For entrees I got the ahi tuna 3 ways and my boyfriend got fish and rice. Both were really yummy. The food came really fast and it was really fresh. The place is spacious so you can go with big groups or kids. Loved it!

same great food but much cooler space. I was very excited to check out the new Pacific Catch; I love the food at the one in the marina but I don't live near that one and the crowded tiny space makes me claustrophobic. This new one has a full bar and LOTS of space. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. The bartender who took my to go order was very sweet and cute, and on the way out, I had my hands full so the hostess got the door for me. Those commom courtesies are no longer expected, esp. in SF, so those simple gestures are that much more appreciated and remembered. All of that plus the FRESH fish - I will definitely be back. (Addicted to their wasabi bowls).
