Another addition to Redwood City's revitalized downtown, this affordable Asian fusion lunch and dinner spot also accommodates the local bar flies..
Southeast Asian dishes with spice levels set for American palates are served up in this modern, two-level dining room garnished with Chinese antiques and eye-catching eponymous red lanterns. Fast-paced diners make the short walk from Redwood City's center to stop in for low-priced lunch platters, while dinner tends to merit a longer family-style meal with friends, sampling entrees like wok-tossed beef tenderloin and lamb shank curry served with yogurt sauce. Tucked behind bamboo screens, a petrified wood counter serves as a bar turning out innovative cocktails and appetizers well into the night.

Interesting Mix of Flavors, People and Scenery.
Small Plates with Big Flavors at this surprising new Downtown Redwood City spot. I recommend this place for the atmosphere service and quality food, especially the ingredients they are very fresh! It is not your typical Asian place; the chef mixes cuisines from Singapore, China, Thailand, Phillipenes, and way more! There aren't any really appetizers and main courses, everything is kinda the same size (like Tapas, but Asian) so I would recommend varying your dishes and sharing with friends. Cocktails and full menu also available at the bar if you don't want to wait for a table. It is kinda small so I recommend making reservations for a Friday or Saturday night. They do have a website too for more info.
