Amazing Brunch!. We had the best brunch experience here last weekend. The menu had just been written up on the board (and online, that morning, which was nice). Our food was fresh, inspired, delicious. The wait-staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was casual and cheerful. I will definitely be back.

Spot on seasonal food and vibe. I love Bar Jules. The only reason for 4 out of 5 is the numb tush I experience after sitting too long, and the inevitable cacauphony of voices at a restaurant where people enjoy themselves. I love the food, the service and Jessica the owner. It's always delicious, fresh and eveything on the menu sounds good. Really cute inside, comfortable, local vibe and incredible seasonal food. Jessica got it spot on. Go with a friend or enjoy a solo meal at the bar. It will not disappoint. PS.For what it's worth, my husband's a chef, so this review comes from a seasoned vet!

Intimate Hayes Valley cafe serves market-driven dinners to boutique shoppers and gallery gawkers.. In Short
The menu changes daily and reflects the supplies of the city's greenmarkets and the farms of nearby rural areas. Foodies opt for barstools, where they can get a good view of the wood-fire grill being put to work; those on dates prefer the dimmer, and quieter, tables. Raw ingredients are transformed into simple dishes that let the produce shine, and the rotating bill of fare creates spontaneity for neighborhood regulars.

great service, excellent food. They just opened last week so no beer or wine service quite yet. We were doing some shopping in Hayes Valley and noticed that they were open and had a table available so thought we would give it a try. The menu changes daily, but we tonight had the turnip soup and baby lettuces salad as well as the pulled pork entree. All excellent and executed with a great amount of focus on flavor detail. This is a must try restaurant.
