Editorial Review for Mood – by Sarah Inez Levy

In Short
Thai favorites and a sushi bar set an international mood at this mod spot, where hungry locals find a respite from the tourist-heavy neighborhood. The half-Thai, half-Japanese menu was inspired by the owner's pan-Asian roots, and friends who can't agree on where to go for lunch find a happy solution in the broad selection. You can have your wasabi crab cake and eat pad see-u, too.

One of my co-workers turned me on to this place and I'm so thrilled she did. This has quickly turned out to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the bay area. I typically go here for lunch. The green curry is OUTSTANDING! It's a little on the spicy side, which I adore! The interior is trendy, with a contemporary/modern twist, but I can't comment on it too thoroughly, since I'm always focused on the food. I know I will be back time and time again. Delicious!

Pros: delicious and yummy food, nice decor

Cons: parking

We were only in town for a week this trip and ate there twice. Food ranged from quite good to excellent. The staff were friendly and competent, remembered us on the second visit. Would make special trip out here if we were staying in another part of town.

Fisherman's Wharf spot means never again having to choose between heading out for Japanese or Thai.  See the full editorial review.
