Marg time!. I'd heard incredible things about Cava 22, so when my company planned their party here, I was very excited.

I'm not sure if it was just because the food was pre-made and set up buffet style, but the amazing reviews I'd received on the food were a little...off. It wasn't *bad* but it wasn't *incredible* like everyone had prefaced.

The margaritas, on the other hand, were exceptional. It was a very fun and friendly venue for the company party. I'll have to go back and try the food again with a smaller crowd.

The margaritas were a flowin'. I came here for a company party where the food was catered and the free drinks were flowing! The chicken tacos were to die for! There was plenty of beer on tap, but the drink of choice during the celebration was margaritas. I would definitely come back here with a group of friends, but mostly just to watch the extremely drunk guy being held up by his not so sober wife. I was making bets on them falling over, (un)fortunately they didn't.

Yum!. When we walked up, the place was pretty empty. Nonetheless, we walked in and had an amazing meal. We tried the tapas(cervice), salad (warm goat cheese) and entrees (skirt steak and scallions), and it was fantastic. Licking-the-plate fantastic.

Mission restaurant has a key location, generous portion sizes and tequila choices a-plenty.. The spacious eatery, with its big windows and corner location, features two dimly lit rooms with a well-stocked central tequila bar as a highlight. Service is uneven, and often crosses the line between freindly and pushy. Mexican and Spanish influences dominate the menu with the occasional drop-ins of a warm French ratatouille-goat cheese salad or an Italian mushroom ravioli with truffle cream sauce, and each entree comes with a copious amount of sides, leaving little room for artistic presentation, let alone appetizers. Those seeking a low-key experience will be pleased to find they have the bar all to themselves.

Great new addition to 22nd/valencia. Cava22 is part of the new restaurants, and bars sprouting up in the MIssion, along with Lolo, Rev cafe etc.

Fun place for a group dinner, dimly lit, party atmosphere..good tequila and decent food. Great for a night out with friends.
