Perfect wine bar for nice evenings!. BIN 38 is a great wine bar. It is a pretty decent sized place and they have a nice outdoor seating area with heat lamps for warm summer nights. I really enjoy the flights they offer. The wine is always delicious. This place can easily get crowded and the service leaves a lot to be desired. If you are at a table, you really need to track down a waiter yourself. Other than that, it's a great Marina wine bar.

Inconsistent food, great wine, good ambiance. Have eaten here several times. When food has arrived on time, it's been great with fresh ingredients and often changing menu. This is much better in the spring and summer than it has been in winter. A few dishes have awkwardly small portions, and on one occasion a few entrees didn't make it out of kitchen, although the restaurant graciously comped us a bottle of wine, so no hard feelings. Great for a girls' dinner or date. Have an extensive wine list, with excellent wines in general and a wide range by the glass. For a bigger mixed group dinner, would suggest drinks and appetizers here rather than a full meal. Bin 38 has a great back garden with heat lamps and good communal space. Ideal for afternoon/evening early dinner or drinks and snacks.

great selection. I came here on Wednesday with a few coworkers and we had one of the best evenings I've had in a long time. The wine kept flowing and the atmosphere was fun and light. I will return shortly.

buena trifecta: wine, food and patio. Bin 38 is foodie compatible and offers winning wine. Top that off with a good layout that even works when busy makes for a spot to look out for while in the Marina. Scratch that -- makes for a place to leave other neighborhoods for. I look forward to patio visits all summer long and indoor appearances when hiding from the fog!

Great place to chill on the patio. Its a great place to meet for drinks in the Marina, or organize a birthday party. The food and wine are great, but I wish they would serve hard alcohol.

Looking to Unwind Afterwork. I've always enjoyed Bins selection of wines. The back patio has always been a favorite spot for me to unwine with friends after a long week at the office. On a sunny San Francisco notrhing beats a great glass of wine, good friends and the awesome atmosphere of Bin 38.

If you love a crowd, you will love this wine bar.. This is a great place to socialize. There are many wine bars in this area that are really small or not great for meeting new people. Bin 38 is always packed. You will probably have to crowd around the bar, squeezing through people to get a glass of wine. It is a great place to go with a couple of friends and make a whole bunch of new ones. Wonderful selection of wine and Knowledgeable staff....

Great food, great wine. My girlfreind and I had some appetizers and a delicious white wine-the Fiona, I believe, here and it was great. Nice outside seating, sitting next to the fireplace was cozy. Could have had better ambience in their middle dining section but the food was quite good. We had the mussels, butter lettuce salad and the squash-all highly recommended!

Great Wine Bar, Great Neighborhood, Great Owners. Bin 38 has become my neighborhood watering hole, since i live just a block or so away. The place is always busy, full of people having fun. Sunday brunch is great, wine is great, owners are SO nice & friendly, apps are great.
