The Scene – The nonstop party at this sophisticated Marina District wine bar begins in the far back on the heated, outdoor patio, travels through the cozy nooks and standing-room-only areas of the appealing main room and ends at the front at a small, smart bar packed with attractive oenophiles. Warm woods and textiles--velvets, plush cushions, smooth and appealing surfaces--add comfort and heat to the scene. Servers do their best to push through the crowds (tough it's sometimes hard to forgive them other missteps if you're sitting down to dine). – – The Food – Though…
great selection
by JasSil
I came here on Wednesday with a few coworkers and we had one of the best evenings I've had in a long time. The wine kept flowing and the atmosphere was fun and light. I will return shortly.
- Pros: perfect for a date
buena trifecta: wine, food and patio
by zenfood
Bin 38 is foodie compatible and offers winning wine. Top that off with a good layout that even works when busy makes for a spot to look out for while in the Marina. Scratch that -- makes for a place to leave other neighborhoods for. I look forward to patio visits all summer long and indoor appearances when hiding from the fog!
- Pros: Excellent wine choices, good layout inside and out.
- Cons: I don't live accross the street
Great place to chill on the patio
by ICEMAN
Its a great place to meet for drinks in the Marina, or organize a birthday party. The food and wine are great, but I wish they would serve hard alcohol.
- Pros: Great for birthday parties
- Cons: Not good when it's raining out
