Hawaiian BBQ Satisfaction. Me & my bf Jayson had lunch here towards the end of May '09 & glad we did...overall satisfaction!

Initially we had plans for In & Out..now we know it's common for their drive thru line to be ridiculously long & that's just a preview of how busy it likely is inside to place an order. So we look @ the neighbor vendors (Panera Bread, L&L Hawaiian BBQ, then some chinese restaurant). Being half Filipina, I'm ALWAYS up for some rice ;-) so we both decided to go for some L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

Once we fricken found parking (parking lot here is crazy wkday lunch time), we made our way ova. The place wasn't crowded, but there were folks dinning in & others eating outside. We placed our order & waited about 10min for our # to be called. We both got the Mini Order...bf got BBQ Chkn & I got Katsu Chkn...Macaroni Salad comes w/order...honestly nothing to give a high-five on w/ the mac salad as far as taste. It was just a side filler & kinda "blah"...maybe that's why it's just part of the meal vs paying extra for it, who knows. Now the BBQ & Katsu Chkn...yummy yummy in our tummies! BBQ Chkn juicy & tender while Katsu Chkn was had a crispy outside & tender on inside...the (teriyaki) sauce for the Katsu is good compliment too. My bf tasted my Katsu & said he'll likely get that time (really liked the crunch), so Katsu Chkn for the both of us is really good! Shared a Lava Flow Smoothie (no whip) which was really good & definitely recommended. Final tab was just about $15 bucks. We'd be up to try this place again & any other L&L Hawaiian BBQ spot.
