Oh, 2 Lips, I am sorry that I judged you for so long based on the sketchy people that hang around outside your door. When we went inside 2 Lips for the first time yesterday, I was shocked. Instead of the dirty dive bar I expected, it was actually a pretty decent little bar that could easily fit in in the Mission or the Haight. They have a decent little seating area, the bartender seemed friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Works for me. I would definitely recommend it to people that work in the Civic Center neighborhood.

A girlfriend and I went into this bar as a joke, thinking it would be a dirty Market Street dive. We thought the name was funny since we are girls.......We were very suprised, it is clean and bright with fun seating areas. You can sit at the bar, the lounge area in back or the loft. The staff is super freindly and the customers are a group of characters, but nice and freindly. Know my friends and I always make point to stop by for a drink when we are in the area.
