Word-of-mouth has made this Mission district joint a welcome gathering spot for fans of Japanese and imported motorbikes.. Beyond the non-descript, dive bar exterior, this watering hole and hangout for sport motorcycle enthusiasts wins fans with a laid-back vibe, 12 beers on tap and interiors jazzed up with salvaged bike parts. A mint condition bowling alley once used by Navy Base in Alameda has been repurposed here as the surface of the establishment's long bar. Patrons come to talk shop and shoot pool or grab a bite from the small menu, whose no-frills offerings include rice and beans plates and sandwiches.

Friendly, motorcycle-loving, relaxed bar with a GREAT kitchen!. Stop by the Ace for a beer, glass of wine, a game of pool, and some rockin' tunes from the jukebox. You'll be sure to meet some interesting, engaging characters and you'll be sure to hear talk of motorcycles, motorcycle racing, and motorcycle gear.

It's an unpretentious spot with a recently-remodeled kitchen that serves FABULOUS food created by their own chef Henry! (The pulled pork is to-die-for!)
