I went to this shop in need of some work and they used the cheapest parts known to man. I had to get my repairs re-done at antoher shop who showed my how Bay Star cheated me. I do NOT recommended this place at all. I guess you do get what you pay for...
Pros: their cheap...
Cons: they use the cheapest stuff on my car and I ended up paying double for it.

I joined Citysearch specifically so I could review Bay Star Auto Care. We've been a customer for a few years now, after being over-charged at Midas one too many times. Midas wanted to charge us about $3000 for a bunch of things that we didn't need when we got a second opinion from Gary at Bay Star. He quoted us about $700 for what we truly needed fixed on our car, fixed it quickly, and didn't try and charge us for anything else. Bay Star has been our go-to place ever since. Recently, we had an odd problem with our car door: the locking mechanism was off and it wouldn't close. We drove over to Bay Star, holding the door closed the whole way, and left it in Gary's capable hands. It did take until the next day to get our car back, but he didn't even charge us for whatever he did to fix it. And on top of that, a few days later we received a nice little post card from Bay Star, letting us know that they appreciate our business and hope we come back to them the next time we need help with our car. I really believe they do appreciate our business. In short, Bay Star Auto Care is an excellent business that shows respect to the customer.
Pros: Friendly, Honest, Pretty Fast, Accurate Pricing
Cons: You may have to call to find out the status of your repair
