One of SF's coffee cult favorites brings his individually brewed Turkish magic to the blossoming Mission Bay neighborhood..
Mission hipsters have been lining up at Philz's first location on 24th Street for years--the individually prepared cups of joe were legendary before the recent influx of latte art and coffee simplicity. The Mission Bay addition to the father-and-son team's caffeine empire serves up the same blends of beans into tailored cups, but now it's SoMa professionals lining up to tell the busy baristas how much sugar and cream (lots of both, please!) to add. The proximity to both AT&T Park and the CalTrain station makes this a popular pop-in cafe, however there's free Wi-Fi if you're of the telecommuting, coffeeshop-camping variety.
