Best Bay Locksmith Response to 'ifoxtrot'.
We are sorry that you feel as though the price was too high as we are confident in our competitive pricing. You mentioned that it only took the technician 20 min to unlock the door, the is not
necessarily a correlation between the time it takes to unlock the door and the price, the reason he was able to do it so quickly is because of his good training and equipment. Please feel free to contact us if you would like further clarification on the pricing.
Thank you - Best Bay Locksmith…
broke my lock then didn't accept responsiibility for it.
My office got buglarized. They came and left thru a window. But stole some keys, so I thought I would rekey the front door. Called Best Bay. THey came quickly and rekeyed the door. Great no
problem.
However, the next day, the lock started jamming. I called them back and asked for them to come by and take a look. Best Bay did. They told me that they couldn't possibly have caused the lock malfunction and that it would cost me another 260 to replace the lock.
I called back the company and asked for a supervisor. Who didn't call me back . I called several times leaving my numbers to get back to me.
I finally spoke to a nice customer service person, Daniella, who helped me. She helped pass along a message to her boss and then she herself called me back. I didn't speak to the supervisor, they wouldn't even get on the phone.
They denied any possible way of being somewhat responsible.
If they had offered something like a new lock at cost and a free installation or something, i would not be upset. But when they avoid calls, avoid responsibility and don't even get a supervisor on the phone to take my calls? That merits a bad review.
Steer clear of this place, or at least use a credit card rather than a check like I did. i would have disputed the charges in a heartbeat.
Now, I have to pay another locksmith to come out and fix the damage. So a re-keying of a lock is now going to cost me over 400$. Thanks!…
Unlicensed!. Be aware of phony locksmiths, this one is a perfect example. Do not be fooled by all of their great reviews, notice that they are all very similar (posted by the owner)........ This company really isn't a company at all. I will gladly remove this post if you can prove to me that you have a valid LCO number, if you even know what that is. And by the sound of your prices, the state would require you to obtain a contractors license as well. I would love to see proof of that too.…
Bad Service Scam Artist.
Guy spent three hours working on the locks. Didn't know what he was doing. Damaged front door lock with a screwdriver. Went around back and had to drill the lock out because he couldn't do his job (I
know for a fact that the locks are pick-able because other locksmiths have done it in the past).
Also told me one price then at the end included hidden fees and doubled original price quoted. When I told him he doubled the price on me, he just shrugged. Also I had to hold his tools and the flashlight for the three hours and he didn't even thank me.
Avoid at all costs.…
145 dollars is what it costs to break into my house?.
After being locked out of my house and borrowing the fed ex guy's iphone, I was put in contact with Best Bay Locksmith. They promised speedy and efficient service, however, forgot to tell me of the
rap-eing (mispelled for inappropriate word purposes) of my credit card that would ensue after the locksmith spent twenty minutes attempting to break into my door.
I called the company after he left to get an official price quote and was told that $145 dollars was "a good price" for it being the weekend.
Call me frugal but I'll wait for my room mates to come home next time. Even if it takes all night.…
