Good Food.
I was up north visiting some friends and they took me to their favorite local restaurant in Mill Valley - Bungalow 44. We ate there on a Wednesday night which was great because they have free live music. We actually sat down before the music started and the place filled up fairly quickly. It got a little loud and the noise continued while the guy was playing music which made it a little difficult to hear. Other than that it was a great atmosphere.
The food is also very good. I wish I had room to try everything. My mussels were cooked in a wonderful broth and were very, very good. The cocktail list is very creative and they offer a decent selection of wines by the glass (including a few on tap, very cool).
The next time I'm up north I will stop by Bungalow 44 to eat again.

American fare is done up with style at this trendy Mill Valley hot spot..
In Short
A 1940s supper club décor greets patrons, as they enter the doorway, which is lined by large palm trees and cobblestone pillars. The interior boasts spacious leather booths and a stylish bar as well as an outdoor seating area complete with fireplace. White-clothed tables and an attentive wait staff evoke a fine-dining feel, but the clientele and atmosphere maintain a friendly neighborhood quality. The menu serves up home-style favorites in an upscale fashion, like a chopped 44-chicken salad or lobster spaghetti.
