Not the Worst Dentist in San Francisco, but Close

I understand why all of the other patients have written 5 star reviews... I wrote one of those once myself for Dr. Todd Iverson. After spending a few $k on dental work I thought he was amazing.

But when he started harassing me with phone calls insisting I keep coming in for more treatments after I cancelled a few appointments, I called to speak with him about his rationale behind the additional treatment. Yes, I was challenging his reasoning.

He turned into the worst dentist imaginable on that phone call - he became ridiculously rude and insulting. I didn't go back.

I then updated my review on another review site and he proceeded to reply to that review by publicly posting my private medical and personal information, some of which is still there despite my request for removal.

I have filed a HIPAA complaint and will be filing complaints with the San Francisco Civil Rights office, as well as the Medical Board of CA.

So for those of you who have drunk the Kool Aid, I was once with you. He's all peaches and cream until you stop coming in for repeated treatments (aka forking out cash) and have the nerve to challenge him on why it's so necessary.

I hope you never have reason to question his work, or if you do, that he's learned by now that how he handled my situation is not good business.

Kindest Dentists I know!

I started going to Dr. Syers and Dr. Iverson close to 3 years ago and they and their entire staff have went WAY beyond the call of duty with helping me achieve full dental health. Their kindness and the work they do for the community, helped me go from a smile I have been ashmed of my entire life to a smile that is just phenomenal!

They donated thier services to help people who are unable to pay for dental care to a local non-profit, The Delancey Street Foundation, where I had been a resident. While under the care of Dr. Tracy Syers, she did all of the foot work to connect me to an amazing Orthodontist for braces, and Oral Surgeon for an implant , while seeing me more than regularly to help me maintain a healthy smile during a time when my teeth were under a lot of stress.

I have since moved on to a great job and have obtained dental insurance and I am now using them as my regular dentist. I wouldn't have it any other way! When you find dentists that care this much, you have to hold on to them.

I can't say enough fabulous things about Dr. Iverson and Dr. Syers. Not only are they professional and great to be around, they make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. Their entire staff is knowledgeable, pleasant to be around and intelligent. The office is beautiful and has a tranquil and calming environment.

Hip Dentists

I like my dentists...personally...I just like them. They are young and seem cool and they make you feel like going to the dentist is like visiting friends. Everyone who works there seems happy, it's just a nice environment.
